Two Posts in One Day?!

I know craziness right? I don't blog ina good two weeks and then blog twice in one day?!

Anywho, I thought you'd all like to see what south shore kids do for prom. It was so much fun and definitely worth blogging about :D
I unfortunately had to go to school for four hours before being released into freedom. At 11:30 I handed in my almost 9 page research paper on the influence of the Beatles in 1960's American culture, made some last minute plans with Oliver and headed out the door. I met my mom at Panera's for lunch where I got my usual, an asiago cheese bagel with butter and a cookie!

Then I went and got my hair did, went home, did my make up, and put my dress on. By that time it was just about 4:30 and Oliver was at my house. It was absolute mayhem at my house. My mom, stepdad, sister, brother, brother's two friends, aunt, cousin, daddy, and stepmom were all at my house wanting to see us off. After what felt like forever of my mom taking pictures, Oliver and I were finally free to go to Pauls and take more pictures!

Then we followed the trolley to prom (saved some money!) and went up an incredibly dangerous flight of stairs. I didn't fall going up them, I can not say the same for my date. We then ate some salad, rolls, and green beans. Then we followed my mother's only request and got legit prom pictures which, I'm sure will turn out lovely. We almost missed "A Milli" but returned just in time for Oliver to sing the entire song, he killed it. There was a lot of dancing and what not. It was a great time. My favorite part? Oliver putting on "Love Story" and "See You Again" and singing every word to both. :D
My favorite picture from the entire evening:

It's been so long!

Hey everyone! It's been wayyy too long since I've last blogged! I lost my chord to my camera and I was so busy prepping for prom this past friday night. So lets start with after April vacation.

My friend Megan and I decided to go green and ride our bikes all around Pembroke. We started at my house and went all the way across town and ended up at Dairy Twist. We then paid a nice visit to AJ. After that we went to the Herring Run and picked flowers and took pictures of the roaring river.

Then we rode our bikes back across town to the candy jar and CVS. There we got some delicious candy including a few of my favorites: chocolate covered pretzels, chocolate covered gummy bears, and sour patch watermelons :D Then Megan and I parted ways and I went off to dance after picking up my car.

The next day which was a friday I believe, I dyed my hair. Then I had a KAB sleepover with my beloveds, Brianna and Angelica. We ate pizza on AJ's back portch and then decided to go grab some Mary Lou's because we always get Mary Lou's. We were then bored and didn't know what to do, so we went to the playground! It was oodles of fun.

The next day I had to be at work at 9 a.m. So I left AJ's at 8:45 and was there by 9:15. After work, the ladies and I went to get some shoes for prom. That was a successful mission. Then we had to take AJ home. So Brianna and I decided to go mini golfing. I called up my good friends, the Buck Nasty crew and the four of us went mini golfing at starland. It was good stuff. I managed to not hurt myself but I did hit Oliver in the ankle really hard with a golf ball, sorry Oliver!

After deciding the final standings for the evening, (which ended up being Chris, Brianna, me then Oliver) we all parted ways for the evening.

P-P-P-Poker Face.

So this morning I woke up to a beautiful sunny day; it was nice and warm and a perfect day for a nice drive. I shot a text to Brianna and AJ asking if they'd like to go to the Salvation Army and Twice As Nice to try to find things for Brianna's 8-'s themed party. So naturally we started our day with Mary Lou's and headed out on our adventure.

Then, we arrived at the Salvation Army. After lurking through the store for about 5 minutes, we decided that this was not the store for us. We did however feel the need to sanitize after looking around for a bit.

We decided that going to Twice As Nice consignment shop which was much nicer and much cleaner. We walked around the entire store, twice. AJ, Brianna and I all found some really rad shoes. Brianna found some lovely pink pumps, AJ found some nice blue wedge heels, and I found some pretty rad multi-colored metalic pumps. You'll have to wait until after the party to see them though :D.

After lurking the mall for a bit trying to find some rad accessories for the party, we had to drop Brianna off so she could get her hurr did.

AJ and I didn't want to go home. We thought that since it was such a beautiful day out, we should just go for a drive. We ended up just taking different turns and getting lost and driving around for a few hours. It was great. We scared pedestrians by screaming and beeping at them. We also blasted the music as loud as poor Frankie (my car who was named after Frank Sinatra) could handle. Throughout the day I think we heard "Poker Face" more times than I'd ever heard it before. It was crazy fun.

The Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day.

So today I woke up and I could tell that it wasn't going to be a very good day. I tried to remain optomistic as I was excited to get some info on some schools that I'm considering at the College Fair. So today, school was real boring as usual. When we were getting ready to go to lunch, I realized that I had left my peanut butter and banana sandwich on the counter! (wamp wamp!) I was rather distraut but decided to not let it ruin my day.
So after school I had to go to Show Chior, which is never any fun. Then
my chorus teacher told me she was disappointed in me for talking at Semsba. This made me sad and not happy.

This evening around 6:00, my mom and I left to go the Expo Center for the College Fair. We got on the highway in Hanover and almost immediately the car started making awful noises and it felt like we had a flat tire. What was wrong with Mother's vehicle? The tirod broke and almost started a fire. Great right? Yeap so I guess we weren't going anywhere. So we decided now would be a good time to get an account with AAA.

They said they'd send someone out in a half hour. Until they did, this very attractive man came out to help us. I had a better shot of him but I couldn't find the chord for my camera (blogging off my phone again) so that'll have to wait.

I never did get to talk to the colleges I want to apply to. I guess I'll just have to wait until I apply to them. Too bad three of them are out in California. Well, hope you all had a better day than me.
Until Tomorrow, keep it real south shore!

Who needs AP Bio?!

So right about now I should be studying for AP bio. However I've done everything but that. Due to the rain, today has been rather unproductive.

Because of the rain, there is not too much to do on the south shore. So if you're as bored as I am, here's what I've done today...

I got some pretty rad earings which I am pumped to have because they match my prom dress perfectly. Yay! Can't wait!!

After arriving home, I decided to procrastinate even more and paint my nails. Just for fun. They're white, it looks pretty rad.

Then I decided to read one of my favorite books, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. I got to up to page 417 before I decided I was extremely lame and could be doing something much more productive.

So what did I do that was more productive? I made a veggie burger and turned on the television. I chose to watch Nick shows because that's always fun. During my viewing of the t.v. I saw this crazy cool nature movie that I want to see so bad! Come see it with me :) Nature Movie

So right now I'm about to go lurk the interweb some more and hope for some nice weather tomorrow.
Till then!

KB Toys Adventure!

Why hello! This is our first blog! We decided to start a blog because we envied the greatest blog ever to grace the interweb, too buck to blog It's a nice blog. So, naturally, this blog needed to happen. Enjoy our lives! Here we go:

So today started with me (Kayleigh) waking up to see a lovely sunny day! It was real nice out and very warm. I decided to ask the other two members of the KAB team, A.J. and Brianna, if they wanted to go to Plymouth for the day. A.J. unfortunately had to do a whole bunch of homwork, so Brianna and I headed off on our journey.

While tryin to make it to Colony Place, we missed the exit and ended up in
PLYMPTON?!?! Craziness right?!

So we made a U-turn and made our way into Plymouth. It took some time but we finally found our way to the shops.

After arriving at our destination, we decided to get some coffee and lunch. We hit up SBUX and Panera. I got an Asiago Cheese bagel with butter, an Ice Caramel Macchiado and a cookie! Brianna got a chicken Salad Sandwich and French Onion Soup with a Caramel Frapaccino. She thoroughly enjoied them.

Then after lurking the Plymouth shops for a while, we decided to depart and headed to the mall. (Where else do we south shore kids go?!)

There we met up with the Buck Nasty Crew of Oliver and Chris, and Jeff "The Thrill" Hill. (Unfortunately they did not get blogged today.) We had to head home after only a few minutes but I'd say that's an eventful day wouldn't you?
